I have been lugging my MacBook Pro around in the paper-thin cover (made from some sort of fibertex or coarse plastic-paper) from its original box. It is a very temporary solution for protection from scrathes. The paper is starting to rip apart near the corners.
Then I discovered that the MacBook Pro fits very well in a Tucano Second Skin Folder originally designed for PowerBook 15″. I was afraid that the wider screen would not fit, but the neoprene sleeve just stretches the last few milimeters and fits just as nicely as with my old PowerBook. It turns the MacBook Pro into a rather rugged book for any bag I might put it in.

My sister has inherited my old PowerBook and is very happy that I have always used a sleeve when moving it around. You can barely see that it has endured heavy use and a lot of transportation for two years. Thanks Tucano for making a great product.
